FAQ

How do cameras work here? (No WebRTC / no STUN / no TURN)
This site uses a PHP server-relay method: your device captures frames and the server relays them to other users in the room. It’s designed for simplicity and broad compatibility (including mobile), but it’s not the same as peer-to-peer WebRTC. If you want better performance, use a strong connection, good lighting, and keep other heavy apps/tabs closed.
Why didn’t my camera prompt show up?
Common reasons:
  • Not HTTPS: Most browsers require a secure origin for camera/mic. Use HTTPS (recommended) or localhost for testing.
  • Permission blocked: Check your browser’s site permissions (Camera/Microphone = Allow) and reload.
  • User gesture required: Some mobile browsers block auto-start. Tap the “Enable camera” banner or press 📷 Camera.
  • Another app is using the camera: Close other apps/tabs using the camera.
How do I change the camera grid layout?
In a room, use:
  • 📐 Columns (Auto, 1–10, Focus)
  • ↕️ Max Rows (Auto or 1–5). If the room exceeds your max rows, the grid becomes scrollable.
Tip: For large rooms, 10 columns + 5 rows supports up to 50 tiles.
How do I interact with people / open user menus?
In the Active Users panel, click a user’s avatar or name to open their menu (Profile, Message, Friend, Block, Report). Room owners/mods and admins will see additional moderation controls.
How do multiplayer games work?
Open 🎮 Games in a room, choose a multiplayer game, and it will create a “waiting game” entry. Another user can join to start. Use rematch when available.
Why is my video blurry / laggy?
Blurry video usually comes from low light, device limitations, or unstable connection. Try:
  • Increase lighting (faces should be bright and evenly lit).
  • Move closer to Wi‑Fi, or use wired/strong LTE/5G.
  • Close other bandwidth-heavy apps (streaming, downloads).
  • Lower the number of visible tiles using ↕️ Max Rows or Focus mode.
Echo / feedback issues — how do I fix it?
Echo is almost always caused by speakers playing audio back into your mic. Fixes:
  • Use headphones/earbuds.
  • Lower speaker volume.
  • Mute your mic when not speaking.
What’s allowed here? (Cannabis community rules)
Keep it chill and respectful. No harassment, hate, threats, or doxxing.

Cannabis discussion is welcome, but:
  • No illegal sales/transactions and no instructions to break local laws.
  • No medical claims presented as professional advice.
  • Respect room rules and moderator decisions.
